Xenia at the Ember

Soft Opening Ember

Kochen auf offenem Feuer

Xenia Glassen is one of the most successful Instagrammers in the capital under girleats.bln. She did not only impress us with her reach, which is the hardest currency in this world, but convinced us much more with the quality with which she maintains her account. Around 12,000 food lovers follow her posts. Her passion belongs mainly to fine-dining and casual fine-dining gastronomy. Fits us! That’s why she’s getting her own little series as part of eat! berlin.

On this evening Xenia Glassen takes us to Marzahn to a vacant archive. There you will meet Tobias Beck. He studied the art of cooking on open fire in Argentina. Francis Mallmann, who became world famous with his episode on the Netflix series “Chef’s table”, was his teacher. After that, he cooked at the wellknown restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen and at Restaurant Ernst in Berlin. We are quite sure that we will continue to hear a lot from Tobias Beck in the future. So, his concept “Ember” is not a classic restaurant, it is more an adventurous journey through the city. Outstanding evenings are hosted always at different locations. The events are always sold out immediately after their release. Chapeau!

Without a doubt, Xenia has created an evening for us in our festival program that would not have existed otherwise. We are overjoyed!
